Since its beginning, UPSS has become one of Africa’s most highly anticipated scientific training events. Each year, UPSS showcases a different region of South Africa; Stellenbosch (2023), Cradle of Humankind (2024), and KwaZulu-Natal (2025). In 2026, the school travels to George, Western Cape, with the 2027 edition already planned for the Drakensberg. This rotating model highlights South Africa’s rich diversity. But the story of the UPSS isn’t just about location; it’s about connection. It’s about the 60 participants who learn from and network with 16 world-renowned facilitators.
